Yesterday was Revolution Day here in Mexico and as usual, there was a big parade to celebrate.
There were lots of little Revolucionarios and Adelitas,
Escaramusas
and pretty girls dancing.
And being that it was also Physical Fitness Day, there were little cheerleaders
and athletes doing pyramides and tablas ritmicas (sincronized fitness routines).
But my favorite part of the parade was watching Ashley and her classmates singing and dancing as cheerleading clowns.

how fun! every time (with the exception of this last visit to Mazatlan) we've gone to Mexico, we've seen a fabulous parade! The costumes, music, dances, and historical approach is so awesome. This is why I love me some Mexico!!

ReplyDeletenice parade and it's good to know some people still love a clown. Oh those mustaches are popular.
ReplyDeleteToo cute! And yes, super fun! I'm not big on parades of any kind (claustrophobia kicks in as do the flashbacks of the chaotic Puerto Rican parades in NYC) but this may be one I would not pass. I love the last photo :-)
